Howdy. I'm Joe Epley, a writer and management consultant in public relations and reputation management.
A native of North Carolina, Joe Epley has worn many hats over the past seven decades -- Green Beret, journalist, change agent, global traveler, PR pro and now novelist. He became an author after selling Epley Associates / Public Relations in Charlotte, NC after operating it for 38 years, But since he couldn't understand how the retirement gig works (other than moving to the foot of the Blue Ridge and enjoying rural life again) so in addition to board work, some consulting, Joe Epley is now writing about the American Revolutionary War in the south. Epley's first book, "A Passel of Hate," received critical acclaim. Honors and awards: Gold Anvil -- The most prestigious award in the public relations profession. One given annually by the Public Relations Society of America for lifetime achievement.
